CCPA GDPR, I received an email “Allstate: Do you know who has your data?” If they are offering Data protection, I must assume they are CCPA Compliant. They must understand how important keeping all personal information secure is. I have my Insurance with them. I wonder if my data is encrypted to protect it from hackers. I would be upset if Allstate became the reason my personal data was on the dark web.

I have some questions:

1. Are you GDPR or CCPA compliant? You’re searching the dark web & other places for my information, Is the data safe in the search & transit?
2. Will you contract with other vendors to assist in the search of the dark web?
   1. Will these other vendors protect my personal data per GDPR & CCPA?
3. How will you get Consent to send these emails?

Is Allstate open to an on-premise CCPA audit?

CCPA GDPR, Recent emails, “Equifax Your Credit Your Identity” (your breach lost millions of SSNs).  If you are offering Data protection, you should understand how to keep personal information safe & CCPA/GDPR Compliant. Are You?

I hope all companies marketing & selling data protection services are themselves CCPA & GDPR compliant & not the source of Citizens data being sold on the world’s black market.
