CCPA/GDPR/Big Data. Hypothetical scenario 3. I see a self-serve line empty at the store. I scan my purchases, insert my credit card and enter my 3 digit security code as required. At the time, I thought nothing of it & saved enough time to hit the gym & make it home for the kids!

No one told me these computer cloud things are shared with many companies. This allows the hackers to steal my Personal Information and others even when they hack another company.

Mr. Banker, you’re a nice fellow and all, but I would rather spend this time with my kids than with you re-doing my charge cards and banking accounts because your company did not Properly Protect my Personal Information. I heard something called GDPR was supposed to enforce this?
