95% of larger Companies have Big Data initiatives, but most seem unconcerned with GDPR. This troubles me as Big Data, especially in the cloud, is considered the most vulnerable to cyber-attacks.
Do companies plan to encrypt personal data in their Big Data Environment? Or do they feel the EU will never enforce their regulations and that legal actions for lack of fiduciary responsibility will never be initiated?
I don’t believe any reasonably informed individual feels the number of intrusions will diminish, or that new security software will have a lasting impact on reducing intrusions, especially when most actually result from Password discovery.
We believe by including Personal Data Protections into your initial architecture and by using software technologies, almost every Big Data ecosystem can reasonably protect customers’ personal data.
Over the past 5 years we have mastered solutions for data protection that can be assimilated into almost every Big Data Project & legacy system.
