Recently BDR published its OCR video for GDPR Compliance, which I felt simply addressed a difficult problem facing numerous Banks and Insurance firms, and that being discovering personal data imbedded in OCR documents.  GDPR requirements dictate a citizen has the Right of Erasure and Right to be Informed for all data files & documents in your possession, including OCR documents.

These same citizen’s rights extend to pictures, videos or distinguishable objects, & represents another difficult hurdle for companies to negotiate to reach compliancy.

This video demonstrates how straightforward it is to take a picture of a face or an object & match it against a database with a mixture of single or multiple faces, or objects, capture its location & path (metadata), & allow for the decision of its deletion or sequestration to meet the requirements of GDPR or other Regulatory agencies.
