$94 Trillion in GDPR fines!? Greatest Data Protection Regulation to date. If only they were able to enforce it. The potential minimum fines are so great they could exceed the entire Gross Domestic Product of both the US & EU combined for just the admitted 80% of companies that are not compliant. Will other countries try to step in and enforce their own regulations just to augment tax revenues not being collected by the EU? Perplexes Steven Meister.
There is no excuse for a lack of enforcement. There are technologies in the market that can validate, audit & enforce GDPR & a Company that has offered the use of its technology free to the EU & other worlds Regulators. Real enforcement of Data Compliance Regulations is sorely needed to force companies to comply & reduce the percent of non-compliant firms.
